SUNDERLAND WANT JANUZAJ

Former Manchester United coach David Moyes is hoping to reunite with Red Devils prodigy Adnan Januzaj when he joins Sunderland this summer. The young player is reported to be interested in leaving Old Trafford as he has not been able to establish himself despite his brilliant start. Sunderland have been linked with a lot of Red Devils stars since Moyes took over at the Stadium of Light.

Moyes has confirmed that he is interested in Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini and would want them to join in team as the new campaign kicks off. There are reports that Moyes has doubts over the Fellaini deal due to the release clause of the player from his contractual agreements and there are reports that the Belgium international is not really keen on leaving Manchester United despite the increased competition.

There has been a flurry of interest since news broke out that Januzaj is keen on leaving Man United as new youth players are even now ranked ahead of him. Lazio is the latest club that joins the train of interests pouring in, although the sports betting markets seem to be predicting a move to Wearside, where the talented Belgian can rejoin his former mentor David Moyes.

Aside from Januzaj, Sunderland are keeping tabs on Benfica’s Salvio despite the new deal the player signed with the Portuguese champions. They want as much as £20 million for the player which would likely scare Moyes away as the budget of the club is limited.

Manchester United were linked with Nigerian young talent Kelechi Nwakali and were due to sign him before they lost him to Arsenal. Academy coach Phil Brogan met with representatives of the player in Nigeria after seeing him play. He started negotiations with the player and a Nigerian agent but discovered that a representation agreement had been signed with another agent so the deal couldn’t go through. The player is expected to remain with the Gunners till 2021 after drawing interest when he led Nigeria to Under 17 World Cup glory.
