Louis van Gaal might rotate his team for the match against Norwich

Louis van Gaal has hinted that he might rotate his team for the game against Norwich City especially with a crucial FA Cup final coming soon.

Indeed, winning the FA Cup will be the only way for the Dutchman to save an otherwise frustrating season.

Manchester United will have to face two away games at Norwich City and West Ham in the space of 4 days before ending their Premier League season against Bournemouth. Louis van Gaal said that he has a fully fit squad at his disposal and that he will make full use of every player during these remaining games of the season.

He added that at this stage of this season it is important to choose players that are still fresh and not showing signs of fatigue. Van Gaal said that playing 2 matches in quick succession is never easy and that he will have to rotate his team if they want to finish the season on a high note.

Louis van Gaal stated that he prefer to stick with a team as much as possible, but sometimes injuries, suspensions, and fatigue force you to make changes to your team. He said that he had the same policy in every club he has managed, but it is a bit difficult to do the same in the Premier League given that they play more matches in a short period of time. MANCHESTER UNITED IN A MUST-WIN MATCH AGAINST EVERTON

Following the victory in the Manchester derby, the hopes of Manchester United has been raised as the team is just a point away from Champions League qualification.

After the International break, Manchester United resume against Everton in the English Premier league. The match proves to be one of the biggest tests for Louis Van Gaal. The victory against Liverpool, Arsenal and recently Manchester city has transformed the poor run the red Devils started with.

However, with the wins, the results that followed blemished it. After the victory against The Reds, they lost to Southampton. After the win against Arsenal, the red Devils lost again against West Brom. This match against Everton is a must win to keep the UEFA champions league qualification hopes alive.

On the other hand, Everton has been inconsistent this season. The Roberto Martinez led team is just 12 points clear the relegation zone with seven matches to go. The team has put 51 goals past the net but has also conceded a whopping 41 goals due to the troubled defense in place. Read More

At certain times, Louis van Gaal gets bored of Manchester United’s playing style

One of the things that Louis van Gaal has consistently been critiqued is for the methods or playing style that he has been implementing in Old Trafford which essentially consisted on siting back and being defensive with a slow paced rhythm. The vast majority of Manchester United’s results finish in either 1-0 or draws.

It’s been a very long time since Manchester United has claimed an overwhelmingly convincing victory as most of their triumphs are snatched by the minimum amount of goals and even when they do manage to come out on top with the victory, it always seems like United struggle even in their triumphs.

Louis van Gaal has recently stated that there are certain occasions when even he felt bored watching his team play on a few matches as the Dutch coach told the media: “There are matches that I have enjoyed and there are also matches where I’m very bored or angry because we are not disorganizing our opponent’s defence but that is football. At this moment we have a lack of creativity and you can see that but they have done it played well in the past so they can do it.”

For a club that routinely spends millions of pounds in upgrading their team and signing top class players, playing with a such a defensive and fairly dull style is something that has disappointed the supporters of the Premier League club as they want to see the players come to life in every single match and show that they are indeed worthy of snatching a top spot in the English league. Louis Van Gaal says Angel may leave Club

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal says that he cannot completely rule out the possibility of Angel Di Maria leaving the club in the summer.

The club’s record signing is reportedly unhappy – along with his girlfriend – to live in Manchester. His form has dipped considerably compared to his initial few months at United. After having an attempted burglary incident at his home a few weeks ago, di Maria has been living at a hotel. All these situations have not been ideal for him and this could leave the Argentine demanding an exit in the summer.

Given that he is the club’s most valuable player, United are unlikely to allow him to leave easily. Van Gaal, though, concedes that an unhappy player will not be of much use to him. The 27-year-old has contributed only three assists in his last 10 appearances, while he is currently serving a suspension received as a result of the direct red card in the 2-1 defeat against Arsenal. Van Gaal says that the attitude by the player since the red card has been excellent and he is hoping for better performances in the future. Van Gaal also has to deal with poor performances of another big-name signing in the form of Radamel Falcao. Read More

Louis van Gaal faces huge Criticism

Louis van Gaal has faced a lot of criticism at Manchester United for using a 3-5-2 system when it is clearly evident over the last six months that the players are comfortable playing with four at the back.

United had secured some excellent results when playing with the regular system with four defenders. Despite this, Van Gaal has tried to go for this unique formation whenever he has had the opportunity. The controversial system was once again back in the headlines after United lost 1-0 to their top four rivals Southampton at Old Trafford. Read More
