Leicester Re-Signs In Andy King

Leicester City has reportedly re-signed in Andy King this October. The talented midfielder is on a 4-year contract with the club which continues till the year 2018.

It was a remarkable birthday celebration for King who had an unforgettable 26th birthday signing renewal agreement with the premier English football club.

The Wales star came to East Midlands right from the academy in the year 2006. He has made 283 1st team-appearances & scored 54 goals during his tenure till now. Andy’s previous contract is about to terminate by the termination of coming season- however Leicester has announced about contract extension this Wednesday given the stellar potential of the player.

King is delighted to maintain his pace in his old club and has even expressed this desire to stick to Leicester till his last playing days.

“I am completely buzzing”, said an excited Andy while speaking on the official site of his club. “To reach so far by now with this club & to be able to take part in Premier League is like dream coming true for me. To be capable of committing my future here & for my club to show this much of confidence in my play is a huge boost – thus I am just looking forward to shoot on now.”

“I have always played for this club post my academy years & it is looking more & more as if they are the sole squad that I would ever score for”, he continued with deep passion and commitment for Leicester. “I would really love it in case that goes the case.”

“I have always said that right from my first debut in 2007 against Wolves, the fans have always been really amazing with me-thus, a huge Thank You on my part for them. They have been a great support all through my career & I am hopeful for such a similar fate so on.”

Nani Still Paid By United

Luis Nani completed his return to Sporting Lisbon as the Portuguese winger was used as bait in order to lure in Marcos Rojo into Manchester United.  Rojo signed a 5 year long contract with Manchester United meanwhile Nani will only be performing with Sporting Lisbon on a season long loan deal.

There is a rather surprising twist to this deal as Nani is only playing with Lisbon during one season in the few months that he performs with the Portuguese, his wages will still be paid by Manchester United.  Nani is going to be paid around $8 million in wages to perform for another club; this is a sign of just how much Louis van Gaal wanted to sign Marcos Rojo.

After everything was completed United had to pay €16 million in transfer fee to secure the services of Marcos Rojo as well as having to continue paying Luis Nani his normal wages even though he is performing for a different club.

Rojo is a versatile defender who is capable of performing in the left-back position and in the heart of the defence as a centre-back. This is great news for Louis van Gaal and Manchester United as they have to find a back-up option for Luke Shaw who is out injured for one month.

Luke Shaw missed out of Manchester United’s opening match of the season due to a hamstring injury but the young defender is not expected to rejoin the squad for a few more weeks as he has been struggling with fitness ever since the 2014 World Cup came to an end.

Facing defeat in the opening match of the season and losing one of their most promising signings of the transfer window is not the way that Louis van Gaal wanted to start the season but the Dutchman has a chance of recovering from the early setbacks and kickoff his charge for the league title.
