However, Mourinho wants to assure the fans that he does not have the intention of playing a boring football and that he will do everything he can to entertain them.

It is believed that the former Chelsea manager has already spoken to the senior players such as Rooney, De Gea, and Carrick and told them about his plans for the team. He stated that he would not be playing the slow and defensive-minded football favored by Louis van Gaal. He has also said that he will continue the Manchester United philosophy of bringing in academy players in the team. He stated that if a young player is good, he will play in the team irrespective of his age.
