Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is positive about the return of Mohamed Salah ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester United on October 20. The Egypt international sustained an ankle knock from a late challenge from Leicester City’s Hamza Choudhury at the weekend and he was substituted before the final whistle.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Van Dijk has said that his teammate has not suffered any serious injury and he has plenty of time to recover ahead of the Red Devils clash, he told: “I think he should be not too bad. The good thing he has plenty of time to recover. He’ll probably get a time to recover as well. ‘So I’m not concerned that he’s not going to be ready for United away.”
