Gary Neville said that there is a lot of work to be done at Manchester United in order to improve the team and he feels that the spat between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba is unnecessary at the moment. The former England international said that at the moment they all should work together to improve the team instead of fighting among themselves. He said that Paul Pogba has been magnificent with France during the World Cup and that it will be a great thing if he could calm down and focus on his football and start playing the same way for United – with one football tickets website saying that interest in seeing the Red Devils has slumped in recent weeks, after they hit an all time high after the World Cup FInal, and Pogba’s dominant performance.
He believes that it is still early in the season and that there is still time to recover from their poor start. He believes that there are enough quality players in the team and that they should all be working together.
Gary Neville said that the manager should look for a system that suits the players that he has and help them perform to the best of their abilities. He said that players such as Alexis Sanchez can perform better and that Jose Mourinho should find a way to get him more involved during the matches.
There are also players such as Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford who deserve more playing time and at the moment they are spending more time on the bench rather than using their talents for the team.
